Crown moulding is one of those details that quietly does a lot of heavy lifting in a room. No crown and the space feels unfinished - like something is just slightly off. Get the right profile installed cleanly, and the whole room pulls together in a way that's hard to put your finger on but impossible to miss.

We just wrapped up the moulding work in these two bedrooms and we're really happy with how the profile turned out on this one. It has a nice, bold shape to it - not overly ornate, but enough presence to make the ceiling line feel intentional. The corners are tight, the transitions are clean, and the whole run sits flush and even all the way around each room.

What makes this install especially interesting is that it was done with LED lighting in mind. The profile we used creates a natural ledge and shadow line that works perfectly as a channel for LED strip lighting. Once that lighting goes in, the moulding will bounce soft light up toward the ceiling and give the room a completely different feel at night. It's a setup that looks great as-is and even better once the LEDs are running.

This kind of finish carpentry work is where the details really matter. Moulding that doesn't sit right, corners that gap, or profiles that clash with the room - those are the things that make a job look amateur. We take the time to get the cuts right and make sure every piece is set properly before we call it done.
